how to make a pair of quilled earrings #1

This is my first actual post as a tutorial , so here goes...
how to make quilled earrings

The things you'll need are:-

*A slotted quilling tool

 *Some glue
*Two tubes for the rings, one larger than the other.

And two shades of quilling paper ( i prefer 3mm quilling strips for jewelry, here i'm using bright shades)

Let's begin !!!!!!!!

# First take two strips of pink quilling paper and glue them together. Then using the larger tube make the outer ring of the earring as shown below.

Then glue the ends together .

Now you have the outer ring. Repeat the process and make another ring like the first one.

Set it aside, using the same technique make a smaller ring using the smaller tube.

Glue the smaller ring to the larger one like shown.
Press the two rings together to form a tear drop shape like so...

Cut the green quilling paper into smaller pieces such that they are equal. I cut each strip into 8 equal pieces. The more the pieces, the more detailed the earrings. You'll need to cut more than a one strip depending on the size of your earrings.
Using the slotted tool roll the pieces into coils, make sure that they are not too tight.
Glue the ends of the coils.
Do this to each of the pieces. I know this can be a bit tiresome but you just gotta love it!!!!

Once you have enough coils start arranging them inside the earring and glue them together one by one  like shown below.
We are almost done. For the final step attach the hook by using the jump rings like so.
And we are done!!!!!!
I hope this tutorial has been useful. I really am excited and look forward to post more such tutorials in the future!!! Don't forget to comment and let me know how you feel.
